Young Investigator Award Session
The Young Investigator Award Session will be chaired by senior faculty members. Each finalist will present the key points of his/her research followed by a Questions & Answers period led by a panel of experts who will judge the presentations and determine the winner. All selected participants will receive free admission to the Congress Dinner in the Tivoli Gardens on May 23th, where the winner will be announced.
Conditions:
- You must be the presenter of your abstract
- You must be under 40 years old at the time of presentation
- Abstracts not selected for the Young Investigator Award competition may be automatically considered for presentation as a moderated poster or compete in the Best Moderated Poster Competition by selecting this option in the abstract submission system
Nurses and Allied Professionals
- You must be the presenter of your abstract
- You must be employed as a nurse or allied professional (see submission rules and guidelines for a list of qualified professions) within a relevant field of cardiovascular healthcare
- Abstracts not selected for the Nurses and Allied Professionals competition may be automatically considered for presentation as a moderated poster or compete in the Best Moderated Poster Competition by selecting this option in the abstract submission system
Moderated Paper Posters
Abstracts selected for Poster Presentation must be displayed as a visual representation of the research in a formal poster format. Each poster will be accompanied by a Q&A session, moderated by a senior faculty member, scheduled during one of the conference breaks. Furthermore, the highest graded abstracts will compete for a special Best Moderated Poster Award.
